In adapting to the challenges of the new normal in education and giving importance to the formal recognition of merits to the graduates and completers, Zamboanga del Norte National High School recently held its first virtual ceremonies for graduation last June 29, 2020 and moving up last July 3, 2020 at ZNNHS Official Facebook page.
ZNNHS Senior High School 3rd Graduation Exercises was made virtually on-air via Facebook Live. There were 702 total graduates for School Year 2019-2020 as presented, certified and confirmed by School Principal Adrian G. Refugio, Public Schools District Supervisor-East District Edgardo S. Cabalida and Schools Division Superintendent Virgilio P. Batan Jr.
The virtual graduation technical team was composed of the video editor and director, Mr. Jeric J. Medina; pictorial committee, Ms. Manilyn E. Templo, Joshua dela Flor, Kyle Erika Saycon, Louie Mar dela Rama Murro, Joshua Hallel Tabada and Vince Louanne Tabilon; and dubbing committee, Ms. Pretty Abegail C. Pacilan.
Consequently days later, ZNNHS Moving Up for completers was also held through Facebook Live. A pool of editors as technical working team made the virtual moving up possible. With Mrs. Priscilla T. Anotado as the moving up adviser, the technical working team included Rey S. Martalla, Francis Val A. Jutingo, Rey Anthony T. Villaverde, Luigi M. Villejo, Shawn Michael A. Perater, Reyjhann Darl R. Dalman and Franz Anthony T. Anotado.
The virtual programs followed usual ceremony rites as mandated by DepEd Order 02 s.2020 with the theme “Sulong EduKalidad: Pagtataguyod sa Kinabukasan ng Bayan (Sulong EduKalidad: Championing the Nation’s Future)” . The ceremonies were made simple and meaningful for the community.
